At TruePotential PLLC, we understand that participants may need to cancel their registration. Our written policy regarding refunds in such situations considers both a fair approach and the financial commitments associated with the program.
Refund Policy for Participant-initiated Cancellations
- Refund Timeline: Refund eligibility is based on a timeframe set before the program start date, as communicated during registration.
- Partial Refund: Cancellations within the specified timeframe allow participants a partial refund, based on a predetermined schedule considering our incurred costs.

Our process ensures the highest standards of transparency, integrity, and the proactive management of any potential conflicts of interest. The steps of our process are as follows:
Prior to and During Course Planning (Requirement 3-2(a)):
- a) Every individual involved in the creation and/or delivery of CE course content must fill out a disclosure form detailing any existing financial or non-financial relationships that might be pertinent to the course.
- b) The ASHA CE administrator meticulously examines these forms to evaluate the disclosed relationships and determine if they might impact the course.
- c) Should any relationships be deemed relevant, the ASHA CE administrator will deeply analyze how they might affect the planning, management, presentation, or evaluation of the course.
Identification After Course Planning but Before Delivery (Requirement 3-2(b)):

- b) Factors such as the prominence of the conflict, its potential to infringe upon the course’s objectivity, and the exact duties of the individual during the course are thoroughly considered.
- c) Should it be deduced that the conflict is significant enough to potentially hamper the authenticity of the course or affect the learning experience of the attendees, the individual might be disqualified from any involvement in the course’s planning and/or delivery.
Resolution through Disclosure (Requirement 3.2(d)(ii)):
- a) When a conflict of interest is discerned but can be adequately addressed, TruePotential PLLC considers resolving the matter through proper disclosure.
- b) The ASHA CE administrator deliberates if revealing the conflict to potential enrollees and attendees would sufficiently arm them with the insights required to take a well-informed call regarding their participation.
- c) The conflict’s nature, its prospective influence on the course, and the merits of disclosing the same to alleviate concerns about potential bias are meticulously evaluated.
- d) If it is deduced that making the conflict of interest known can effectively dispel any possible concerns, ensuring that participants are well-informed, TruePotential PLLC guarantees that this conflict is transparently presented to potential enrollees and course attendees, adhering to the standards set in Requirement 3.2(e-g).
